Comilla’s Pakistani recruit have helped them to register their first win of the season as they beat Rajshahi Kings by 32 runs. After putting an unbeaten stand of 41 runs with ten Doeschate, Sohail Tanvir claimed four crucial wickets to pave the way for his side’s maiden win.
Put in to bat first, Comilla were 4 down on 103. Sohail joined skipper Mashrafe there and then stitched a 41-run partnership with ten Doeschate of 29 balls which lifted Comilla past 150.
Afterwards, in their defense, Sohail gave the early breakthroughs to remove Junaid Siddique and Sabbir Rahman off back-to-back deliveries from his first over. At one point, Rajshahi were struggling on 105 for 7 where Sohail striked again cleaning up Miraz and Farhad Reza. The Kings were eventually wrapped up for 120.
