Bangladesh cricket’s latest sensation Mehedi Hasan Miraz has helped the Rajshahi Kings to register an incredible win against the Rangpur Riders with his allround performance. After putting a vital partnership with Farhad Reza, Miraz gave the breakthrough for the Kings in their defence too.
Opting to bat first, RK were reduced to 43/7 at one point. A disgraceful total on the verge, Miraz stitched a crucial partnership of 85 runs with Farhad Reza, 3rd highest ever 8th wicket partnership in the history of T20 cricket, to raise his side to a modest total of 128.
Then in the defence, Miraz drew the first blood for the Kings by removing Soumya Sarkar. He continued with his spell to claim another big wicket of Nasir Jamshed. Eventually, the Riders were all-out for 79, losing the match by 41 runs.
