Rajshahi Kings will be facing Chittagong Vikings again in their match off Eliminator round. The equation is simple, winner goes forward and loser goes home. So no room for mistakes in this match.
Kings were magnificent at their last game against Vikings as they managed to win the game with 6 overs and 5 wickets in hand. Their batting seems to regain some glamour as Kiwi all rounder James Frankin shone brilliantly at the last match and dismantled the Vikings. Kings spinner did an even better job with a revelation in the face of Afif Hossain, a 17 year old boy who took a fifer and was the cause of Vikings destruction. They will look to do the same again as they face the behemoth of a batting line up of Chittagong Vikings. Will the Vikings fall for the same trick? Only time will tell.
Vikings will want to take revenge of the last match’s humiliation. Their arsenal of batting giants like Tamim, Gayle, Malik, Nabi – all fell to a teenage boy which is an embarassment in itelf. But still they have got the highest runscorer in this seaosn in Tamim Iqbal, the hoghest wicket taker in Mohammad Nabi and also Chris Gayle – the most dangerous T20 batsmen ever. Should they fall for the same trick, it will be a shame on them.
