As any T20 tournaments of late, the latest edition of Bangladesh Premier League were never short on big hits. There were low scoring matches and there were high scoring matches. But in the end 416 sixes and 1058 boundaries were made of the entire tournament. Staring at the big hits chart it is clear that the two finalists – Dhaka and Rajshahi did most of the big hitting alongside Chittagong Vikings. 4 of the top six hitters are from Dhaka and rajshahi, with two each. The fifth entry is the man of the tournament and Khulna captain Mahmudullah.
Dynamites opener, Mehedi Marud tops the big hitting chart with 20 sixes. Closely followed by Rajshahi skipper Sammy and Rajshahi talisman Sabbir Rahman with 18 and 17. Prasanna, though not a regular at Dhaka squad claims the third spot with strings of cameo appearances.
