Young bowlers of U-19 Bangladesh team has carried on their previous day’s performance and wrapped up Singapore innings by just 70 runs. Singapore lads had struggled frenziedly as only one batsman could reach 2 digit mark and rest batsmen just fought hard to cope with Bangladeshi bowlers. The second highest was Mr. Extra in Singapore innings. Abdul Halim and Nayeem Hasan led the destruction from the front and took 3 wickets each. Singapore lads could only survive 25.5 overs.

In reply Bangladeshi skipper Saif Hassan started fanatically and scored 33 runs in just 11 balls! He scored 4 sixes during his short stay in the crease. Every other batsman followed his footsteps and also went crazy with bat on the crease. Bangladesh reached 71 run mark in just 5 overs with a rate of 14.2 runs per over.

The young lads are currently holding the top position of group B with 9 points. They will face Pakistan on 18th December in their last group stage game on the same venue at Galle.
