Mushfiqur Rahim has to go through a scan tomorrow to understand the condition of his injury. He pulled his hamstring while taking a single in the first ODI and had to retire hurt on 42.

Yesterday, the injured place was blood clotted and so the physio didn’t allow Mushfiq to go to the hospital for scanning and treated the place with ice. He’s now on rest completely.

Mushfiq is feeling better today but the physio wants the scan report first to declare any final statement. In the meantime, Bangladesh have reached Nelson safely and they passed the day by resting.

Bangladesh will face New Zealand in the second ODI here who are on the lead by 1-0. The match will commence on 29th December.
