Mustafizur Rahman has made a great vault to climb 19 positions along the ODI ranking board and currently holds his best position on 29. After being the ICC emerging player of the year, it has come as ‘new year’ fervor for him. In the last series, Mustafiz bowled well in two matches and clinched 4 wickets in total. Shakib al Hasan is the best ODI bowler for Bangladesh as he is on number 6 on the ranking board. Mashrafe Mortaza also holding a fabulous position of 14.
Mushfiqur Rahim is the best Bangladeshi batsman on the board who is holding 19th position. Tamim Iqbal is also within top thirty and holds 23rd position.
Despite the loss of series to New Zealand, Bangladesh still remains at 7th position on the ODI ranking board. However, their rating points have been diminished from 95 to 92; only three points ahead of Pakistan.
