New Zealand have started well their batting innings as Raval and Latham have put an opening stand of 54 runs in reply to the mammoth first innings total of Bangladesh. But Kamrul Islam struck in his very first ball to send Raval back and made the session comfortable for Bangladesh.
Prior to that, Bangladesh have added 53 runs as Sabbir Rahman has played a sensible innings of 54 runs and remained unbeaten. Mushfiqur Rahim decided to declare Bangladesh innings just after Sabbir has reached his milestone.
Bangladesh have started with Miraz who has bowled brilliantly so far whereas two debutants Subashis and Taskin have also showed a lot of promises. Taskin might get a wicket in his very first over but Sabbir dropped an easy catch at the slip cordon.
Bangladesh, however, still possessing a consolidated position as New Zealand are trailing by 540 runs at the end of morning session.
