Former English player and top spinner Graeme Swann has selected his best ODI XIs from the current crop of players based on their performances in the recent past. He along with Michael Vaughn and Marcus North, was asked to pick respective current best ODI XI and all of them have picked Virat Kohli as a common choice. Ashwin and Jadeja were popular picks as well.
“He’s a brilliant ODI player, brilliant ODI bowler. He’s also good with bat,” Swann explained the reasons behind picking up Shakib. He, however, picked up Shakib as a bowling all-rounder but at the same time he expected something from him with bat as well.
Swann’s XI: David Warner, Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Shakib-Al-Hasan, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Sunil Narine, Mitchell Starc
