After grabbing six wickets in the first innings and then scoring a century coming to bat, Shuvagata Hom again clinched four wickets in the second innings. He has become the first person thus, to secure a ten-for in a match along with a century in Bangladesh Cricket League. His all-round performance keeps central zone on track at the end of third day. South Zone only took 18 runs lead and struck as well coming to bowl- leave the match on a stage of severe excitement.

Shahriar Nafees started nicely for South Zone and played a decent innings of 72 runs. But middle order failure put them on pressure as they had lost 7th wicket by 195. Veteran performer Abdur Razzak then took the charge and played a firing innings of 76 runs. He faced only 61 balls and put runs over a strike rate of 120.
