Prime Bank South Zone had a great second day of Bangladesh Cricket league (BCL) sixth round. Two unbeaten batsmen Tushar Imran and Mohammad Mithun started the day for Prime Bank South Zone. Mithun got out early in the morning by Mohammad Sharif. Next batsman Shahriar Nafees added 115 runs in the fourth wicket partnership with Tushar. Marshall Ayub broke this partnership and picking up the wicket of Tushar.
Tushar scored his second double hundred in the current BCL. Shahriar Nafees dominated the rest of the day and unbeaten on 170 after end of the day. Nazmul Islam is also unbeaten on 25. Prime Bank South Zone finished the day with 701 for 8. Shuvagata Hom picked up 3 wickets for 202.
On the other match of the day BCB North Zone has failed to post a big total and eventually all out for 374. Mohammad Saifuddin broke the 57 run partnership between Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Dhiman Ghosh by picking up the wicket of Shanto at 43. Abul Hasan removed Dhiman in the next over. Dhiman scored 47 from 61 balls with six fours and one six. BCB North Zone lost their last three wickets for 11 and bowled out for 374.
In reply Islami Bank East Zone lost both openers early. Shafiul Islam picked up the wickets of Atif Hossain and Zakir Hasan. Shafiul took three more wickets and restricted Islami Bank East Zone 192 for 7 after end of the day. Alauddin Babu and Farhad Reza shared one wicket each. Mohammad Saifuddin is unbeaten on 35 and Rahatul Ferdous is on 23 at the end of second days play.
