Bangladesh : 84/10 in 23.5 overs (Mehidy 24, Sunzamul 18, Mushfiqur 13, B. Kumar 3/13, Yadav 3/16, Pandya 1/2)

Result : India won by 240 runs.

 

Bangladesh lost their second and final Warm-up match against India by 240 runs at Kennington Oval.

Batting first India posted 324 for 7 in 50 overs thanks to fifties from Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan. Rubel Hossain was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh with 3 wickets for 50. Sunzamul Islam picked up 2 wickets and Mustafizur claimed 1.

In reply Bangladesh had a nightmare start as they lost 6 wickets for only 22 runs in 7.3 overs. Mehidy Hasan and Sunzamul’s 8th wicket partnership of 30 runs did some repair work. Bangladesh were bowled out for 84 in 23.5 overs. Mehidy scored highest 24.

Bangladesh will face host England in the opening match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 on June 1 at Kennington Oval, London.
