BCB has announced former Australian First-class cricketer Mark Dorian O’Neill as the short term batting consultant for the Tigers. He will work with the tail-enders to improve their batting skill. Apart from the batting coach, BCB is also working on to finalising a specialist bowling and a spin coach before start of the Australia series next month. Stuart Macgill is the number one choice for spin coach. Champaka Ramanayake is in advanced talk with board for the role of bowling coach for High Performance Unit.
Contracts of the national selectors have also been extended to another year, according to Nazmul Hasan.
