Bangladesh U-19 lost the 4th Youth ODI by 45 runs against Afghanistan U-19 at Sylhet International Stadium, Sylhet. Batting first Afghanistan U-19 were bowled out for 133 runs in 45 overs. Nayeem Hasan bagged 5 wickets for 38. Chasing 134, Bangladesh U-19 were all out for 88 runs in 30.3 overs.
After losing 6 wickets for 11, Mahidul and Nayem’s 75 runs partnership in the 7th wicket provided some hope for the young Tigers. But it was not enough as they lost the last 4 wickets for 2 runs and were all out for 88. Mujeeb Zadran picked up 7 wickets for 19 and selected man of the match.
Fifth and final match of the 5-match series will take place at the same ground on October 6.
