Sylhet Sixers continue their winning streak after securing their third win in the 6th match of AKS BPL T20 2017.

Darren Sammy won the toss and put Sylhet Sixers into bat first. Just like the first two matches, Upul Tharanga and Andre Fletcher again gave Sylhet Sixers a blistering start. They added 101 runs in 10.3 overs. Tharanga was dismissed after scoring his third consecutive half-century in this BPL. Danushka Gunathilaka and Ross Whiteley’s two quick-fire knocks in the later part of the innings helped Sylhet Sixers to post 205 for 6 in 20 overs. Kesrick Williams picked up 2 wickets for 39.

Chasing 206, Luke Wright and Mominul Haque gave a good start to Rajshahi Kings. But Sylhet Sixers came back to match thanks to their bowlers who picked up wickets in regular basis. James Franklin tried to put some fightback but the task was too big to chase. Rajshahi managed to post 172 for 8 in 20 overs and lost the match by 33 runs. Abul Hasan and Liam Plunkett both shared 3 wickets each. Danushka Gunathilaka was named man of the match.
