Bangladesh : 513/10 in 129.5 overs (Mominul 175, Mushfiqur 92, Mahmudullah 83*; Lakmal 3/68, Herath 3/150)

Sri Lanka : 504/3 in 138 overs (K. Mendis 196, Dhananjaya 173; Roshen 87*; Mustafizur 1/88, Miraz 1/97, Taijul 1/144)

Bangladesh bowlers had another tough day on the field as Sri Lanka dominated the third day of first Rocket Test and are trailing by 9 runs at the end of the day with 7 wickets in hand.

In the morning session, Mustafizur Rahman removed Dhananjaya de Silva on 173. Then Taijul Islam got rid of Kusal Mendis on 196. But an unbeaten 89-run partnership between Roshen Silva Dinesh Chandimal in the 4th wicket helped Sri Lanka to finish the day in a strong position.

Sri Lanka posted 504 for 3 in 138 overs before stumps on day three. Mustafizur, Miraz and Taijul shared one wicket each for Bangladesh. Bangladesh were bowled out for 513 in the first innings.
