Bangladesh lost the second Rocket Test following another batting collapse in the second innings on the third day at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. With this win, Sri Lanka secured the 2-match series 1-0.
Earlier Sri Lanka added 26 more runs today in the last two wickets from their overnight score of 200 for 8. Taijul Islam bagged both of the wickets. Roshen was remained not out on 70. Taijul was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh with 4 wickets for 76.
In reply Bangladesh lost the wicket of two opener Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes before lunch. After lunch, Bangladesh had no answer to debutent Akila Dhananjaya and Rangana Herath and lost the last six wickets for just 23 runs. Mominul played the highest knock of 33. Dhananjaya picked up 5 wickets for 24.
Roshen Silva was named both man of the match and man of the series.
