Marshall Ayub shines for Walton Central Zone in BCL

Batsmen put Walton Central Zone in a strong position against BCB North Zone in the second day of fourth round of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL).

Walton Central Zone started the day on 249 for 3. Marshall Ayub’s 132 and Mosharraf Hossain’s unbeaten 83 helped Central Zone to post a mammoth total of 529 in their first innings. Ariful Haque bagged 4 wickets for 79. BCB North Zone batted one over before stumps of day two without scoring.

On the other match of the day, Prime Bank South Zone were bowled out for 403 in the first innings. They added 104 runs in the last 3 wickets thanks to Delwar’s 63. Khaled Ahmed took 4 wickets for 84. In reply Islami Bank East Zone ended the day on 95 for 3 in 33 overs. Liton Das remained not out 60. Kamrul Islam Rabbi claimed 2 wickets for 33.
