Bangladesh clinched a 12-run victory in the second T20I against West Indies at Lauderhill, Florida and leveled the 3-match series 1-1. Third and final match of the series will be held on tomorrow (Monday) at the same venue.

Bangladesh were put into bat first after losing the toss. Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan guided the innings with a 90-run stand after the departures of Liton, Mushfiqur and Soumya for 48. Tamim was dismissed after scoring 74 off 44 while Shakib got out on 60 in just 38. Bangladesh posted 171 for 5 after 20 overs. Nurse and Paul shared two wickets each.

Mustafizur picking up the first in the second over with the wicket of Lewis on 1. Other bowlers also put pressure on West Indies as they lost 58 for 4 in 7.1 overs. Then Fletcher and R Powell put some fight with a 58-run partnership in the fifth wicket. But some good death overs from the bowlers helped Bangladesh to restrict Windies for 159 for 9 in 20 overs. Nazmul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman bagged 3 wickets each.

Tamim Iqbal was named the man of the match.
