Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah resumed the Bangladesh innings today on 259 for 5. They added 42 more runs in the partnership before Roach dismissed Shakib on 80. Liton Kumar Das then scored an quick-fire fifty. Mahmudullah on the hand brought up his 3rd century in Tests to power Bangladesh score past 500 runs. Bangladesh were all out for 508 in 154 overs. Brathwaite, Roach and Warrican shared two wickets each.
Shakib struck in the very first over of Windies innings to dismiss Brathwaite without scoring. Mehidy Hasan Miraz joined the party from the other end as he scalped 3 wickets while Shakib chipped in with another wicket to put the visitors in big trouble on 29 for 5.
