Result : Bangladesh U-19 won by 8 wickets.

Player of the Match : Minhajur Rahman.

Bangladesh U-19 team got off to a good start in the two-match four-day Youth Test series beating England U-19 by 8 wickets at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. Second and final match of the series will be starting from February 15.

Bangladesh needed 40 runs in the fourth day to win the first Youth Test which they successfully chased with 8 wickets remaining. Earlier England were all out for 152 with a second innings lead of 39 as player of the match, Minhajur Rahman scalped 6 wickets for 28. Bangladesh declared their first innings on 398 for 9 in response of England’s 280.
