Winning the toss, Cumilla Warriors put the Challengers into bat first. After the early departure of Lendl Simmons, it was Avishka Fernando and stand-in captain Imrul Kayes who set up the Chattogram innings for a big total. They scored 48 and 61 respectively before their dismissal.
Then it was all about Caribbean hard hitter Chadwick Walton as he caused a havoc over the bowlers with an unbeaten 71-run knock off 27 balls. Nurul Hasan on the other end chipped in with unbeaten 27 as the Challengers posted 238 for 4 which is the second highest ever total in BPL history. Soumya picked up 2 wickets for 44.

After his dismissal, skipper Dasun Shanaka put some fightback but it was not enough. Abu Hider brought some excitement in the later stage of the match with his cameo 28 runs knock which only reduced the defeat margin for the Warriors as they managed to post 222 for 7 in 20 overs.
Mehedi Hasan Rana was again the star bowler for Chattogram with 4 wickets for 28 but it was Walton who named as the player of the match for his knock.
