An spirited Bangladesh U-19 side will take on New Zealand U-19 in the second semi-final of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup South Africa 2020 tomorrow (February 6) at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. Match will start from 2 pm (Bangladesh time).
Bangladesh came to the final after defeating the hosts South Africa in style by 104 runs thanks to Rakibul Hasan’s 5-wicket haul followed by fifties from Tanzid Hasan, Shahadat Hossain and Towhid Hridoy. New Zealand u-19 on the other hand made it to the final with their thrilling 2-wicket victory over West Indies U-19.
Young Tigers will now aim to grab their spot for the final by maintaining the winning ways in the semi-final clash against the Kiwis. Winners of this match will face India U-19 in the final on February 9. And the losing team will play against Pakistan U-19 in the 3rd Place Playoffs on February 8.
