Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today (August 16) starts the COVID-19 tests for the Under 19 squad players. 45 players will be tested for two more times before joining the camp at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP).
Today in the first day 15 players and 12 support staffs were tested. BCB medical team will collect their result in the next 24 hours. Anyone proved positive in the COVID-19 test will go straight to isolation under the management of BCB. Others will be given green signal to join the camp.
BCB Chief Doctor Debashish Chowdhury monitoring the whole process from the front. “Today we tested total 27 players and support staffs. We will test almost 65 players and staffs in the coming days. Those who will come negative in COVID-19 test will go to BKSP. And if anyone will found positive, they will be taken to isolation under BCB.”
