Toss : New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first.

New Zealand : 318/6 in 50 overs (Conway 126, Daryl 100*, Guptill 26; Rubel 3/70, Soumya 1/37, Taskin 1/52)

Bangladesh : 154/10 in 42.4 overs (Mahmudullah 76*, Liton 21, Mushfiqur 21; Neesham 5/27, Henry 4/27, Jamieson 1/30)

Result : New Zealand won by 164 runs.

Bangladesh ended the ODI series against New Zealand with another defeat as the hosts clinched the series 3-0 following 164-run victory in the third match of the series. The 3-match T20I series will start from March 28 in Hamilton.

Chasing 319, Tigers lost skipper Tamim Iqbal early in the innings for 1. Bangladesh had to struggle for runs as the hosts seamers kept taking wickets from both ends. Liton Kumar and Mushfiqur got the start but both dismissed after scoring 21. At one point Bangladesh were on 82 for 7.

Only Mahmudullah showed some fightback till the end but it was not enough for the day. Mahmudullah was remained unbeaten on 76 off 73 balls before Bangladesh all out for 154. Neesham was the star of the show for New Zealand who bagged 5 wickets for 27.

Earlier New Zealand opted to bat first after winning the toss. Rubel Hossain who came in the playing eleven in this match, gave Bangladesh a good start with two early wickets. Taskin Ahmed and Soymya Sarkar also chipped in with wickets to put the Kiwis under pressure on 120 for 4. Since then Conway and Daryl made an counter-attacking 159 runs stand which all but ruled Bangladesh out of the game. Both scored hundred as New Zealand posted 318 for 6. Rubel picked up 3 wickets for 7.
