National Cricket League

Sylhet Division:
Sylhet, renowned worldwide for its’ tea and picturesque landscape, is yet to win a season title in
NCL. Despite this, the team has always been a formidable side. Players like Enamul Hoque
Jnr., Alok Kapali, Rajin Saleh came into the national side after performing in NCL for Sylhet.
Sylhet Divisional Stadium is the homeground of this team.
Barisal Division:
The land of rivers, Barisal, is an underdog in NCL. Though, the team hasn’t win any title so far,
but the team is showing promise and developing continuously into a strong domestic side.
Barisal Divisional Stadium is their homeground.
Dhaka Metropolis:
Dhaka Metropolis, featured experimentally in the second edition of NCL in 2000-01 but stopped
playing in the later seasons. The team made a comeback in 2011-12 season and will be a
regular feature from now on.
Rangpur Division:
The newest division of Bangladesh, Rangpur, started featuring in NCL from 2011-12 season.
Nasir Hossain, star Bangladeshi batsman, plays for Rangpur.
