Second and final Test starts from Thursday

The second and final Test of 2-match series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka starts tomorrow (Thursday) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. First Test was drawn at Chittagong.

Following the gutsy performance on the fifth day to salvage a draw, Bangladesh will aim to seal the Rocket Test Series against Sri Lanka. On the 5th day of first Test, Mominul Haque and Liton Kumar Das made a match-saving 180 runs stand in the 4th wicket partnership.

During his knock of 105 in the second innings, Mominul Haque became the first Bangladesh batsman to score centuries in each innings of a Test. Mominul also bagged the record to score highest runs in a match for Bangladesh in Test (281 runs).

Couple of changes were made in the Bangladesh squad for the second Test. Sabbir Rahman has joined while
Sunzamul Islam and Rubel Hossain were left out of the 15-man squad.

Match will start from 9:30 am. (Local time)
