Bangladesh lost the second and final Test by an innings and 254 runs against South Africa at Bloemfontein. South Africa won the 2-match series 2-0.

Bangladesh started the third day from their overnight score of 7 without any loss in the second innings. Kagiso Rabada picked up the wicket of Soumya Sarkar on 3. Rabada then dismissed Mominul Haque on 11. Imrul Kayes was dismissed after scoring 32. Wayne Parnell trapped Mushfiqur Rahim lbw on 16.

Phehlukwayo broke the 43 runs partnership between Mahmudullah and Liton Kumar in the sixth wicket by dismissing Liton on 18. Phehlukwayo also picked up the wicket of Sabbir Rahman on 4. Bangladesh were all out for 172 in 42.4 overs after losing last three wickets in quick-succession. Rabada bagged 5 wickets for 30 runs.

3-match ODI series will start from 15 October at De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley.
