Bangladesh A clinched victory in the first unofficial ODI of 3-match series against Sri Lanka A by 2 runs at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet.
Batting first Bangladesh A scored 280 for 7 in 50 overs thanks to two fifties from Mizanur Rahman and Fazle Mahmud. Ariful Haque chipped in with quick-fire 47 at the later part of the innings.
In reply Sri Lanka A were bowled out for 278 in the last delivery of the final over of the match. Shanaka was the top scorer for Sri Lanka with 78. Khaled Ahmed claimed 4 wickets for 72.
Second match of the series will be held on July 19 at the same venue.
