Bangladesh bowlers found it hard to pick up wickets in the second session. One wicket from Taijul Islam was the only successful moment for Bangladesh before tea break.

Taijul bowled de Silva out on 34. Earlier Mehedi Hasan took a diving catch to dismiss Dinesh Chandimal which was denied by the third umpire.

Sri Lanka are on 149/5 after 54 overs. Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwella are the two unbeaten batsmen at the crease.Bangladesh enjoyed a dream start in the morning session of 2nd Test at the P. Sara Oval Stadium, Colombo.
