Taijul breaks the partnership dismissing Smith

Wicket of Steve Smith just before the tea break gave Bangladesh much needed breakthrough in the second session of the day. Earlier Bangladesh were bowled out for 305 runs in the second day of second Rocket Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong.

Bangladesh started the day on 253 for 6 in 90 overs with two unbeaten batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and Nasir Hossain. Mushfiqur was gone after playing a gutsy innings of 68. Nathan Lyon picked up his wicket.

Then Ashton Agar got rid of Nasir on 45. Tigers lost their last two wickets in quick succession and eventually all out for 305 in 113.2 overs. Lyon took 7 wickets for 94.

Mustafizur struck in the second over by dismissing Matt Renshaw for 4. Mushfiqur took a stunning catch behind the wicket. Then David Warner and Steve Smith added 93 runs in the 2nd wicket partnership. Taijul finally broke the partnership in his first ball of the match. He bowled Smith out on 58.

Australia posted 112 for 2 in 34 overs before tea. David Warner and Peter Handscomb are the two unbeaten batsmen at the crease.
