Result : South Africa won by 6 wickets.

Bangladesh are still in search for a win in Super 12 as South Africa won the clash in Abu Dhabi by 6 wickets. Tigers will play their last match in the competition on November 4 against Australia.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first. Two changes were made in the Bangladesh playing eleven as Shamim Hossain and Nasum Ahmed came in for injured Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman.
Bangladesh had to struggle in the power play as they lost the wickets for Naim Sheikh, Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim for 36. Liton Kumar Das stood out at one end but losing partners on the other end in regular intervals. Tigers were in all sorts of trouble when Liton got out as as the sixth batsman with just 45 runs on the board.
From there, it was Mahedi Hasan who showed some fightback and played a 27 runs knock. But it was not enough as Mahmudullah’s side were bowled out for 84. Nortje and Rabada shared 3 wickets each for South Africa.
Defending a small total, two seamer Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam kept the proteas batsmen in pressure in the powerplay and reduced them for 3 for 33. Taskin completed his 4-over spell with 2 wickets for 18. But Bavuma’s unbeaten 31 ensured his team a easy win with 6 wickets to spare.
