Bangladesh U19 beat England U19 by 5 wickets are qualified for the 5th place Playoff against South Africa after beating England U19 by 5

wickets in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018.

Batting first England U19 were all out for 216 in 47.2 overs. England innings set for a big total during the 126-run stand between Liam Banks and Henry Brook in the second wicket. But Bangladesh bowler fought back by picking up wickets in regular interval.  Hasan Mahmud and Afif Hossain both claimed 3 wickets each.


In reply Bangladesh lost 3 wickets for 82. But two half-centuries from skipper Saif Hassan and Afif Hossain guided Bangladesh to a comfortable 5-wicket victory in 47.3 overs. Afif scored the highest knock of 71. Saif was dismissed after scoring 59. Adam Finch took 2 wickets for 36.
