South Africa U-19 : 157/10 in 42.3 overs (Beaufort 60, Bird 35, Lees 19; Rakibul 5/19, Sakib 2/41, Shoriful 1/28)

Result : Bangladesh U-19 won by 104 runs.

Bangladesh Under 19s have progressed to the semi-final of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 after defeating the hosts South Africa Under 19s in the quarter-final clash at Potchefstroom.

Batting first, the Young Tigers posted an total of 261 for 5 in 50 overs thanks to fifties from Tanzid Hasan, Shahadat Hossain and Towhid Hridoy. Tanzid was dismissed after scoring the highest knock of 80 off 84 balls.

Defending the total, bowlers were on the charge from the beginning led by player of the match Rakibul Hasan as South Africa U-19 were all out for 157. Rakibul picked up 5 wickets for just 19 runs which helped his side winning the match in style.
