New Zealand batsmen have taken the advantage of batting condition at Hagley Oval and set a mammoth total for Bangladesh. Tom Latham and Colin Munro have played two nonpareil innings of 137 and 87 runs respectively and rendered his team to reach this apogee.

Kiwi skipper, Kane Williamson, has won the toss and decided to bat first without any hesitation. Kiwi batsmen responded to his decision splendidly and scored runs maintaining a fatty run rate. Munro and Latham were exceedingly phenomenal- together they put a massive 5th wicket partnership of 158 runs.




Mustafizur Rahman has made his comeback to international cricket by this match. In his first spell, he deceived Guptill with a magnificent slower and struck for Bangladesh. In the 48th over, he sent back the centurion Tom Latham. Bangladeshi seamers, at the ending phase of New Zealand innings, picked up wickets in quick succession but weren’t able to diminish run rate.
