Performer of the Match: Tamim takes Vikings home, yet again

Tamim Iqbal’s bat has flourished in back-to-back matches to get his side off the mark against the Khulna Titans as they have secured the second place on the point table. In pursuit of 132 runs, Tamim held one end up to clinch the victory with 8 balls and 5 wickets remaining.

Tamim, with his Caribbean opening pair Chris Gayle, put 39 runs from the first four overs. Gayle then fell prey to Shuvagata Hom. Couple of run outs reduced the Vikings to 54/3. However, Tamim did not seem to get distracted by fall of wickets as he continued to dominate over the Titans bowlers and sailed the ship home safely. He was unbeaten on 66 from 59 after bringing up his 4th fifty of the season, an innings he decorated with 8 fours and 1 six.
