Bangladesh could get the first wicket in the fourth over of the day but Mahmudullah couldn’t keep the catch at the slip cordon. Sabbir Rahman also missed an easy catch and Raval survived for the second time. These costs, however, have been compensated very well by Kamrul Islam Rabbi. He sent back Raval in his second ball of the match.

One brought two for Bangladesh in that very over of Rabbi as Williamson got edged by a full pitched delivery.

Taskin and Miraz started really well for Bangladesh but the fielders weren’t able to back them up. Catches have been dropped and a chance of a run-out has been spared. Kamrul, ultimately, brought some attainments in the session of penance. Tom Latham and Ross Taylor have survived the rest of the session by remaining unbeaten on 38 and 10.

New Zealand have played 25 overs so far and they are still trailing 219 runs.
