India cross 600 mark as Bangladesh bowlers struggle

For the first time in the one-off test match in Hyderabad, Bangladeshi bowlers have been able to grab more than one wicket. Taijul became the most successful bowler by bagging three wickets and has taken the most valuable wicket of Kohli. Virat Kohli, prior to that, became the first man in test cricket history to score four double tons in four consecutive series. Runs, however, flowed easily for India. Ashwin and Saha were too much comfortable against Bangladeshi bowlers and continued to score runs over a rate of 4.5. Miraz got the second breakthrough for Bangladesh in this session. Ashwin got edged by Miraz and Soumya took a sharp catch at first slip. Pitch offered auspice after that to Mehedi. He trapped Jadeja by a slider just after he had come to the crease. The ball hit the back pad and Bangladesh appealed for LBW. Mushfiq went to upstairs after umpire’s rejection but Hawkeye showed it was missing the stumps. Bangladesh wasted their final review when Mushfiq reviewed immediately when umpire rejected another LBW appeal of Saha. The tossed up delivery would hit the stumps but the impact was questionable and so umpire’s call prevailed. Disappointment continued for Miraz as Saha survived.
