Performer of the Match: Clinical Rashid roll Riders

Rashid Khan has played an instrumental role in his side’s last match of the season which provided them with a consolation win by 8 runs over the Rangpur Riders. Defending a total of 170, Rashid lead the wicket hunt for his side to claim 3 big guns conceding only 13 runs. Losing 4 wickets early, Shahid Afridi and Naeem Islam held fort together at both ends to keep the fight alive for the Riders. It was Rashid who bowled out Naeem for 14 from his very first over. One over later, he claimed the big wicket of Afridi who seemed much formidable today scoring 38 runs from 19 balls. Rashid deceived him with a googly outside the off stump and eventually got him stumped. Rashid then dismissed Sohag Gazi to reduce the Riders to 144/8. He ended with a figure of 4-0-13-3.
