A look back: Foreigners prevail in hunting wickets

From the start and the first few matches of BPL 2016, the local boys are trailing behind the foreign bowlers. Mohammad Shahid and Shafiul Islam were the two exceptions who were topping the highest wicket takers list until injuries ruled them out of the tournament. Off course though injured, Shafiul missed less matches than Shahid so he is the lone Bangladeshi bowler having a place at the top wicket takers table in BPL 2016. DJ Bravo leads the wicket takers in BPL this season with 20 wickets. A wonderful bowling at death by the caribbean seamer. Two seamers from Khulna Titans also hold places at the list. Junaid Khan and Shafiul Islam were the reasons Khulna could compete despite having a messed up batting. Chittagong's Mohammad Nabi and Rangpur's Shahid Afridi also keeping their wrist spinning in this BPL.
