Rahane's departure remains as only consolation for Bangladesh
February 10, 2017

Bangladesh could create only one chance during the first hour of the day’s play. Rahane lashed up a short and wide delivery from Rabbi on the off side. Harried Sabbir Rahman tried to grab that ball to his best but failed. Miseries continued for Bangladesh on Indian soil for successive four sessions consequently. India scored 71 runs in yesterday’s last 10 overs and today they have started from just where they had left. Kohli and Rahane executed their skills to perfection and Bangladeshi bowlers had no answer to that aggression. Taijul eventually brought the breakthrough for Bangladesh but the credit mostly goes to Miraz. He took an outstanding catch to send back Rahane. The fall of Rahane acted like tonic for Bangladesh as they started to bowl brilliantly since then and created half chances. Miraz appealed couple of times to get the wicket of Kohli and umpire did response to one of them. Kohli reviewed the decision and hawk-eye showed ball missing the leg stump. Bangladesh again muffed up a scenario to get a wicket. Saha came down the wicket and the ball went to Mushfiq straightly. He missed the stumping first and missed a second time too. In the meantime, Saha returned to his crease. India scored 121 runs in this session. Virat Kohli is on the verge to clinch another double ton in this season and went to lunch on 191.
