Rangpur claim second win while Sylhet's woes continue

Rangpur Rangers finally getting out of the loosing streak as they defeated Sylhet Thunder in a low-scoring match at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Delpor's quickfire fifty helped them chasing the target of 134 comprehensively. Despite the win, Rangers remained in the sixth spot on the points table with 4 points while Thunder too stayed at the bottom spot with only 1 win in 8 matches. Sylhet's start was not the they would expect as they lost both opener Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles early. Before getting out as the sixth batsman, Mohammad Mithun scored the highest 62 runs as other batsmen struggled against a disciplined Rangpur bowling show led by player of the match Mustafizur Rahman. Sylhet managed to post 133 for 9 as Mustafizur scalped 3 wickets for 10. Rangpur started their innings with the early departure of skipper Shane Watson on 5. But the early setback did not troubled the Rangers as Cameorn Delport and Naim Sheikh added 99 runs in the 2nd wicket. Delport's blistering knock came to an end as Naveen-Ul-Haq dismissed him on 63 runs off 28 balls. Naim Sheikh and Mohammad Nabi was remained unbeaten on 38 and 18 respectively as Rangers chased down the target with 7 wickets and 16 balls remaining.
