This is the first ever Multi-Nation Tournament Title for the Tigers. Earlier Mashrafe Bin Mortaza decided to field first after winning the toss. Bangladesh made four changes in the playing eleven from the last match. Shakib Al Hasan was rested as he was still recovering from his muscle spasm injury. Liton Kumar Das, Abu Jayed and Rubel Hossain were also left out of the team. In their place Soumya Sarkar, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman came in. Windies were off to a solid start before rain interrupted the play when they were 131 without loss in 20.1. After couple of hours of drizzling, the match was then reduced to 24 overs per side. Windies then went onto podt 152 for 1 in 24 overs. Bangladesh were given the target of 210 in 24 overs to win the match. Mehidy Hasan Miraz grabbed the only wicket for 22. Chasing a mammoth target, Tigers needed a flying start and Tamim Iqbal along with Soumya Sarkar provided that with a firing 59 runs stand in just 5.3 overs. Shannon Gabriel dismissed Tamim on 18 to break the partnership. Sabbir Rahman promoted to the number three position but he got out in the second ball without scoring. But Soumya took off the pressure from the Tigers as he played an blistering knock off 66 in just 41 balls including 9 fours and 3 sixes. Mushfiqur Rahim on the other end played an cameo of 36 off 22 balls. Just when Bangladesh were set for a easy chase, Raymon Reifer put the pressure back on by removing both Soumya and Mushfiqur in successive overs. Mohammad Mithun too got out cheaply on 17 and Tigers were in trouble on 143 for 5 in 15.4 overs. Then it was all about Mosaddek Hossain who started his innings slowly. But then he smashed everything to score the fastest fifty in Bangladesh ODI history to made the chase looked so easy. Bangladesh sealed the match with 7 balls to spare. Mosaddek was remained not out 52 off just 24 balls including 2 fours and 5 sixes. His partner, Mahmudullah scored the winning boundary and was unbeaten on 19.
