Bangladesh will face the hosts Ireland in the last group stage match on May 15. Earlier Jason Holder won the toss and opted to bat first. Bangladesh made one change in the playing XI as pacer Abu Jayed made his debut in place of all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin. WIndies started well thanks to Sunil Ambris's quickfire 23 before Mashrafe Bin Mortaza dismissed him. Mehidy and Mustafizur then claimed three more wickets as and reduced Windies for 99 for 4 in the 24th over. Shai Hope and Holder put together a 100-run stand in the fifth wicket and provided fightback. Mashrafe broke the partnership by dismissing Holder for 62 and then also got rid of Hope for 87. Mustafizur on the other end scalped two more wickets to keep the run-rate in check. The Carribians ended the 50 overs on 247 for 9. Mustafizur was the most successful bowler for the Tigers with 4 for 43. Bangladesh were off to a good start as Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar added 54 runs. Ashley Nurse bowled Tamim out for 21. Nurse caused more trouble for Bangladesh as he went onto take the wickets Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar in the 21st overs. Mushfiqur Rahum and Mohammad Mithun then batted calmly to make 83 runs in the fourth wicket to ease the chase. Mithun was dismissed after scoring 43. Mushfiqur on the other end played an composed fifty and got out after scoring 63 when Tigers required just 8 runs to win. Bangladesh chased down the target with five wickets and 16 balls remaining.
