Two openers Shai Hope and Sunil Ambris gave them a good start with a 89-run stand. Mehidy Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan then picked up two wickets and brought Bangladesh in the match. But centurian Hope’s 108 and Roston Chase’s 51 gave Windies a strong position to put a big total. But Mashrafe Bin Mortaza had other idea who completely changed the match with his 3-wicket spell including both Hope and Chase. Other bowlers then maintained the disciplined bowling in the later overs and restricted Windies to a total of 261 for 9. Mashrafe scalped 3 wickets for 49 and became the highest wicket taker for Bangladesh in List A Cricket with 413 wickets.
