Batting first Rajshahi Kings had a slow start and were in trouble after losing 5 wickets before reaching 100. But James Franklin and skipper Darren Sammy's 45 runs partnership in the 6th wicket helped Rajshahi to post a decent total of 154 for 8 in 20 overs. Nazmul Islam and Lasith Malinga grabbed 2 wickets each for Rangpur. In reply, Rangpur lost their both openers early. Then Mohammad Mithun and Shahriar Nafees added 75 runs in the third wicket partnership which paved the way for Rangpur’s victory.
